Ercsi assembly hall
A company manufacturing steel structures in the Ercsi Industrial Park commissioned us to plan a new assembly hall for them to go with their existing factory building. The most important task was to design an assembly space within the permitted building height allowance where it is possible to lift a 5-meter-tall workpiece. We therefore had to design both the roofing of the hall and the crane running in the ceiling to fit into as shallow a space as possible.
The manufacturing space also links to a two-storey main building that houses offices and a social block. After the assembly hall, we designed two additional buildings for this site as well: a warehouse and a hall for abrasive blasting and painting.
