Tranzit House

The goal of the plan is to create a building complex where an old building undergoes contemporary renovations that respect its protected status, an airy pavilion is created to respond to new needs, and these two form one unit and enter into dialogue with each other.   The garden is the focus of the dialogue between the two buildings. It is a multi-storey space interpreted in a modern way and managed through state-of-the-art tools of landscape architecture. It links directly to the basement and ground floor functions of the existing and new buildings, not only connecting them but also providing a backdrop for them.

The colored, exposed concrete walls and sheets in the garden take the shapes dictated by the requirements of the garden. The individual traffic routes within the building complex are characteristic elements of the plan, these axes both take shape and are made visible.
